At the gates of Paris

The Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen came into existence around 1870 when dealers in second-hand clothes and other goods, who were forbidden to ply their trade in the streets of the capital, headed just outside the city boundaries to the village of Saint-Ouen. Over the decades, the flea market has grown to occupy nearly seven hectares, acquire twelve covered markets and extend into five shopping streets. From humble roadside stalls to antique shops, each part of the market has its own identity, but everywhere you’ll find a friendly and inclusive ambiance conducive to bargain hunting. The Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen takes place every week from Saturday to Monday inclusive.
