Every year, the Saut Hermès brings together the world’s best riders and horses for a show jumping spectacular. For three days from March 18th to 20th, 2022, you can come and thrill to the sight of beautiful steeds being put through their paces. The Grand Palais, which usually hosts the event, is undergoing renovations, so this is your chance to discover the astonishing structure that is the temporary Grand Palais...
The top international horses and riders
The Saut Hermès is one of the most prestigious competitions on the world circuit because all the events are classified as CSI 5*, making it a true challenge for world-class competitors. The competition will open on Friday, March 18th, with the Prix du Grand Palais, run under Table A against the clock with no jump-off, before culminating on Sunday 20th with the Grand Prix Hermès, a technically demanding course providing intense excitement for spectators. Throughout these three days, the 20 best riders under 25 years of age also meet in dedicated competitions.
A very special atmosphere
Although its sporting challenge has established the reputation of the Saut Hermès, its success is also due to its elegance and refined ambiance. The beauty of the horses, the aesthetics of the events and all the entertainment provided by Hermès bring something extra that neophytes appreciate as much as enthusiasts. This year, the Saut Hermès also invites you to discover the marvellous wooden structure of the temporary Grand Palais. Inaugurated in June 2021, it hosts events that cannot currently be held at the Grand Palais, and is also one of the sites selected to host events during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
A twenty-minute walk from your Chess Hotel, the Hermès luxury design house invites you to experience a show jumping classic. There is no doubt that, once again this year, the Saut Hermès will thrill with the beauty of its events and the athletic prowess of the horses and their riders.
