The Moulin Rouge is going green!

Categories : Events, published on : 3/1/23

Celebrated around the world on March 17th, Saint Patrick, patron saint of the Irish, will also receive his due in Paris. For this occasion, you can join the festive crowd in the Irish pubs of the capital or go to the Irish Cultural Centre, where they will throw a big party. That’s tempting, of course, but it would be a shame to miss the evening offered by the Moulin Rouge. The Chess Hotel team has the info for you…

The Moulin Rouge Irish Community

Claudine Van den Bergh and her sister Isabelle Corke, both from the Emerald Isle, invite you to experience an exceptional evening on March 16th, starting at 20:00. The former, leader of the Moulin Rouge revue, is joined by fourteen dancers from the troupe and has a delightful surprise in store for you on stage, in the presence of the Irish ambassador to France. Green, generally banished by superstition, will be clearly in view on the costumes of the artistes that evening!

Your Irish evening in Paris

The Moulin Rouge also intends to illuminate its famous façade, usually bright red, with vibrant green to commemorate Saint Patrick's Day on March 16th and 17th. Twenty minutes on foot or by Metro from the Chess Hotel, you can enjoy this unusual spectacle and the festive atmosphere that will permeate the quarter. You can also extend this Irish-inspired evening by tasting the welcome and friendliness of the city's Irish pubs. The Chess Hotel team will be happy to provide you with the addresses of some of their favourites.

Remember to book your exceptional Saint Patrick's Day evening at the Moulin Rouge as soon as possible as places are limited. The Chess Hotel, ideally located in the 9th arrondissement, an elegant and lively district, offers the ideal starting point for taking part in this celebration from across the Channel.
