Designed by Marc Tronson, Aquamoon is a wellness facility covering an area of 600 square metres and having a distinctive, chic stylishness. There’s minimalism, marble floors and columns and pools inspired by the baths of the Classical Roman past. There’s a hammam, sauna and steam room, two pools and a dozen water themed treatment rooms all geared towards providing a holistic overhaul of your mind and body.
In partnership with the Chess Hotel the various treatments available at the spa provide relief from the stress of everyday life, a boost for low energy levels and solutions for the build-up of toxins. Among the treatments available are various massages including hydro-massage, slimming, anti-ageing, reflexology, scrubs, wraps, waxing and a wide range of therapies tailored specifically to your individual needs. The Aquamoon’s waterjet waterbike is a great way of developing your muscle tone. You are seated on a stationary exercise bicycle while the pool gradually fills until you find yourself pedaling against the resistance of the water. It’s a pleasurable and immensely beneficial form of exercise.
At Aquamoon you can make your selection from a choice of one day, one week, three weeks or five weeks programmes, according to your requirements. There are rooms for simply relaxing and enjoying a cup of herbal tea, and alcoves in which you can benefit from a full consultation with the spa’s fully qualified, helpful and friendly experts before your treatment is decided upon.
